First Business Plan Competition in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) - part of the worldwide competition IBTEC (Intel Berkeley Technology Entrepreneurship Challenge) sponsored by the technology giant Intel. It is a joint project of Intel and Berkeley, University of California, aiming to give students, alumni and local entrepreneurs the opportunity to work together to turn innovative ideas into successful businesses. The event is organized on annual base and involves teams from the CEE region: Bulgaria, , Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Turkey, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. The first 2006 event was held in cooperation with Bulgarian Institute for Management and Technology (BIMT), Sofia University and the Bulgarian ICT Cluster. The two winning teams took part at the world finals in Berkeley, USA.
